There was no hot water available if you dared take a shower. Also, on Saturdays in the summer there is free face painting and karaoke! We spotlight locally and domestically produced spirits and organic herbs, dating universal fruits and vegetables grown by our neighbors to create true farm-to-bar cocktails.
Bathrooms are very tired and old, but clean. The campground is fairly clean and maintained. The terrain undulates, so some of the spots are high and some low and widely spaced.

With over acres of coastal redwood trees located in charming Guerneville, this state reserve offers stunning scenery, hiking trails, and camping sites. Did not use or check the showers and restrooms. Also has a farmers market on Thursdays. However, people were courteous enough.

- Look before you park, but stay away from the fence highway noise at the far end, up the hill.

After the weekend, the park emptied out, and during most of the week we were nearly alone in the spectacular setting. The manager was very nice and friendly, but the rest of the staff didn't go out of their way to assist. It is amazing how you can keep fit chopping up logs, and landscaping. The sales staff is helpful, providing personalized suggestions to fit your style and budget. This is a great place to base out of to explore the Redwood preserves in the area and access to the coast and Bodega Bay. Most folks stay here are the permanent type with old, run down rigs. This park is filled with perm residents. We will stay here again when in the area.

In town, for easy access but feels like in country. We were the only ones there. Our site was plenty large enough for our trailer and truck. It has some low hanging wires so we had to pull in facing forward and stop short of the wires.
